Welcome to Taxi Driver Delhi. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and booking services (collectively, the "Service"). By booking a ride, registering an account, or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and agree to all the terms outlined herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Booking and Services

• Ride Requests: All bookings made via our platform are subject to driver availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to accept or decline any ride request at our discretion.

• Fares and Payment: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle category, and prevailing rates (including surge pricing during peak hours, traffic, or adverse weather). Payments can be made via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, or integrated digital wallets.

• Tolls and Parking: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a fixed-package fare, state taxes, toll charges, parking fees, and airport entry charges are the responsibility of the passenger and will be added to the final bill.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

As a user of Taxi Driver Delhi, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and booking.

• Treat drivers with respect and refrain from abusive language, harassment, or violent behavior.

• Prohibited Items: Carry no illegal substances, weapons, inflammable materials, or hazardous goods in the vehicle.

• Smoking and Alcohol: Smoking, consuming alcohol, or eating messy foods inside the taxi is strictly prohibited.

• Be ready at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time. A waiting fee may apply for delays beyond the grace period.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• Passenger Cancellation: You may cancel a ride through the app or by contacting support. Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel after a driver has already accepted the trip or after a specified grace period.

• Driver Cancellation: Taxi Driver Delhi reserves the right to cancel bookings in unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, driver unavailability). In such cases, a full refund of any pre-paid amounts will be issued.

• Refund Policy: Eligible refunds for cancelled or disputed rides will be processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.

5. Limitation of Liability

• Taxi Driver Delhi acts as an intermediary connecting passengers with independent, verified professional drivers.

• We are not liable for any delays, missed flights, or missed appointments due to traffic congestion, vehicle breakdowns, road closures, or acts of God.

• We are not responsible for any personal items left behind in the vehicle, though we will make reasonable efforts to help you recover lost property through our support team.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Taxi Driver Delhi website and mobile applications—including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software—is the exclusive property of Taxi Driver Delhi and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

7. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data. By using our service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
